Mobile Jewish Film Festival FAQ

 

 

When can I watch my film(s)?

All films can be viewed any time between 8:00 am January 7th through midnight on January 21. Ticket holders will receive a Virtual Access email for every film on January 7 with a link to the virtual portal. If you are a pass holder, simply login to the virtual portal any time between January 7-21 to view the films. Once you hit play, you will have 48 hours to complete the film.

 

I can’t find my Virtual Access email, what do I do?

Check your spam and junk folders. Search your mailbox using the film title or the email address donotreply@mail.goelevent.com. You can also log onto your goelevent.com account to find the link in your account order history.

 


Watch on Your Computer or iPad or Phone

To watch on your computer click the VIEW button in the email when you are ready to watch.



OR: visit https://virtual.goelevent.com/ and enter the VOUCHER CODE in the box on the left if you are a ticket holder or login with your email and password if you purchased a pass:


 


Watch on Your TV with HDMI

To watch on your tv using an HDMI cable with your laptop, watch the video below. Login to the virtual portal via the ticket holder or pass holder section on your computer to watch your films.

Watch on ROKU or AppleTV

From your Roku or Apple TV app store on your TV, search for the Elevent TV app, making sure to include the space between 'Elevent' and 'TV'.  After you've downloaded the app, you will see the virtual portal.

To AirPlay to Your TV

 

You can AirPlay from most browsers by selecting the cast button on the bottom right-hand side of the player. You can also AirPlay to a Smart TV bearing the "AirPlay" badge. If you see a black screen with AirPlay on your TV, you likely have “Screen Mirroring” turned on in your device settings. Screen Mirroring is not supported. Please turn off the screen

mirroring setting and start AirPlay by selecting the AirPlay button on the bottom right-hand side of the player. For information on how to use AirPlay on your device please visit the Apple support page here:

 


 


 

 

To Watch on other Smart TVs

 

If you can access your email in your Smart TV’s built-in browser, try clicking the “View” button in the virtual access email, followed by “Play” on the next page. Not all Smart TVs will be able to play videos in this manner.
